Terms of sale

These terms apply when you order from holeinonemodels.com. Hole in One Models is a trade name of Madera Labs, LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Tampa, Florida ("we", "us").

Your order

  • What you're buying. A 3D-printed model of one golf hole, built from public survey (lidar) and map data of the real ground, personalized with the text you give us. Models are printed in plastic (PLA) and are decorative; they aren't toys for small children.
  • Prices. Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where we're required to collect it. Shipping within the US is free.
  • Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Where we ship. US addresses only, for now.

Your proof

Before we print, we send you a proof showing the hole and the plaque. The proof is there so you can confirm it's the hole you remember and that the plaque is spelled right. Reply to approve it, or tell us about a mistake (a misspelled name, the wrong date, the wrong hole) and we'll fix it. We print exactly what you approve. Small differences between the proof render and the printed model are normal: colors, layer lines and fine detail depend on the printing process, and terrain heights are exaggerated slightly so slopes are visible.

Timing

We send your proof within the time shown on your order confirmation, and ship about a week after you approve it. Holiday dates on the site are our best estimate, not a guarantee, because carriers set their own delivery times.

Cancellations and refunds

See our returns and refunds policy. In short: a full refund if we can't build your hole or you cancel before approving your proof, and a free replacement if your model arrives damaged or isn't what you approved.

Course names and personalization

Hole in One Models isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any golf course, club or tournament. Course names appear on a model only because you asked for them, to identify the hole. You're responsible for the text you ask us to put on a plaque, and we may decline text that's offensive or infringes someone else's rights (with a full refund).

Our work

The model files, designs, photos and site content are ours. Buying a model gives you the physical piece, not the right to copy or resell the design.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

The rest

These terms are governed by Florida law, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida. We may update these terms; the version that applies is the one on this page when you placed your order. Questions: hello@holeinonemodels.com.
