Hole in One Models is a trade name of Madera Labs, LLC, in Tampa, Florida. This page explains what we collect when you visit holeinonemodels.com or order a model, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Your order. Your name, email, phone number, shipping address, the course and hole you chose, and your plaque text. You enter your payment details with Stripe, our payment processor; we never receive your full card number.
  • Messages. What you send us by email, including photos.
  • Email sign-ups. Your email address, if you join a list on the site.
  • How you found us and use the site. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the ad or link that brought you here (for example "utm" tags in the link), and identifiers set by Meta's advertising tools (see below).

How we use it

  • To make and ship your model, send your proof, order and shipping emails, and answer your questions.
  • To collect sales tax and keep the records tax law requires.
  • To measure which ads and posts lead to orders, so we spend our ad budget well.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site working.

Cookies and advertising

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API so Facebook and Instagram can tell us which ads lead to visits and orders, and show our ads to people likely to be interested. They set cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) in your browser. When you order, we send Meta your email, phone, name and address in hashed (scrambled) form so it can match the order to an ad click, plus the order value. We also save the link that brought you here in your browser's storage so an order can be credited to the right ad.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser, and change your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. To ask us not to share your information with Meta for advertising, email hello@holeinonemodels.com.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the business, and only what each one needs:

  • Stripe, to process payments and calculate sales tax.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts the site, stores order records and sends our email.
  • Meta, for ad measurement, as described above.
  • Shipping carriers, who get your name and address to deliver your order.
  • Government agencies, when the law requires it (for example, tax records).

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually several years. Other information is kept only as long as we need it for the reasons above.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@holeinonemodels.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some order records to meet legal requirements. You can unsubscribe from marketing email with the link in any message; order emails will still arrive while you have an open order.

Children

The site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
